Reading has been a very important part of my life for as long as I can remember. My Mom read lots and my Dad loved telling about his earliest library experiences. Their modeling and encouragement got me started early on.

Today I find reading fills my life with characters, information and experiences that keep me thinking and engaged in worlds beyond my own small one. I hope you'll join me in looking for more good books (feel free to warn us against the not so good ones too) and that you will be willing to share what's been happening in your reading world.
